We are deeply saddened to receive the news that 27 Malian soldiers and civilians were killed and many injured and missing during a terrorist attack perpetrated in the region of Mopti.

We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives, to the friendly and brotherly people of Mali and wish swift recovery to the injured.
